2jz swap

hey just wanna know if you guys have ever seen a 2 jz in a g35 only reason being is because i think im going to do it as soon as i sell my porsche dont know if it will work but willing to spend the money just to have a 1300 hp g35
let me know what you think

ps did a search on it and didnt find any thing

it hasnt been done before. it can be done though. be prepared to spend at least 12k for the stock motor + parts + labor for 6 speed.

Wouldn't it make more sense to make the Porsche faster and sell the G?

+1 anything can be done if you have the $ to do it, but yea be prepared to spend a pretty penny doing this swap...GL

thanks i was doubtfull for a second. 12k aint bad for that when you consider to truly build a vq its lik 25k right and you still only have like 900hp

not true, 12k for a stock 2jz, plus more money to build. if u want power out of the vq. get a stroker kit and fully build with tt. u will be over 1000 hp running high boost.

no porsche + FI = no car those cars arnt reliable my car has seen more garage time than street they arnt dd cars at all look at the reviews on all porsche's

I was going to do it. Did a lot of research on it. The engine will fit perfectly, but you will have to go single turbo. The twin turbo set up won't fit. There is a lot of work to be done though. A LOT! I had a whole list of everything that needed to be done and it was pretty detailed. There is a 350z in the middle east somewhere that has one.
