Car Humming at High Speeds

I was driving my car, and it makes "humming / droning" sounds between 80-85MPH and also sometimes from 70-80MPH. It is most noticeable at 80-85MPH. But it stops once I drive above 85PMH and it doesnt make the sounds below 70MPH. Do you guys have any idea why and what might be the issue? Alignment? Tires? Rotors? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

nope the car is stock, no aftermarket parts. I know my front tires are feathering...could that be it? It roars when I brake at low speeds, but goes away when I pick up speed.

I drove my friends 06 stock coupe on the freeway, I also here the humming coming from the front around 60mph-80mph, it so loud sometimes I can hear the vibration of the noise on the driving wheel, we cant figure it out! Hrrrrmmm.....thats why nothing left in my car is stock, except the engine block haha. But i get all sorts of noises

1. Check inside tire wear...
2. Check your bearings

my friends car had the same problem. ended up being his tire's balance.
also can be from your tires wearing out unevenly.

hmmm the inside of my front tires are wearing out. i hope thats it. thanks for all the help though guys...reassuring that its not only me. haha.

I think I'm going to try switching the two front tires to see if the sound goes away. I read that really long post on tire feathering by daveb and how he made it go away by doing this, althought a lot of people seemed to oppose this idea. I can see why. Well, it'll be a test to see if the inside tire wear is what's causing this annoying humming.
