Spark Knock/Pinging

Sorry for my old school terminology but that is what I am hearing. I always run 93 octane gas. I have only had my car3 months and it has 37k miles. Could it be a plug/wire problem?

Unfortunately the octane sticker is just a marketing tool not a promise!

Changing plugs [without damaging each coil] is a good start as is changing gasoline brands as a test.

Of ciurse with air mods [leaks/problems] all bets are off.
Could just be the annual May 1-15 change over to Summer Blend [Lower Reid vapor point] gasoline?

i get this too on a regular basis, dealer said they can't "find" it or do anything about it...both me and the previous owner have complained about it.

Thanks for the replies. Perhaps when I get my car tuned in early June it will run better.
