Service Engine Light

Alright my service engine light came on and i took it to autozone and they told me it has somethimg to do with the gas cap or a vacuum leak of some sort. So i buy a new gas cap light is still on and cant seem to find any leaks anywhere. I have a cold air intake and full tanabe exhaust. Can my fellow g35 lovers help me PLEASE! Thanks mike

do you have a actual code number? im assuming your talking about a evap leak.

yes but they never told me the code. i did this reset for the ecu that i have seen on these post and it works so far. also the person i bought the car off of says he took it to the dealership for the same reason and they were suppose to fix it BUT i guess not

I just went through the same situation. I took my G back to the dealer. They had to replace the throttle body. I also have a 03. They will hit ur pockets if you are out of warrenty. But since then everything is working normal now.

The dealership will ask around $600.00 without a warranty. You should check and see if that is covered under the warranty, if not you should look at the aftermakets spots. It will be cheaper.
