2003 g35c 5AT- something wrong with my G??

Don't know where start but my G feels kinda slow sometimes.

- after 20-30 mins drive the heat underneath the car is unbelievable (coolant temp is fine).

- after 20-30 mins G feels less responsive and shifts aren't as smooth (not harsh but just wasn't as smooth). Throttle response not as sensitive (no jerky throttle). Engine sounds different, not sure how to describe it but it growls instead of purr.

- feels dirt slow with AC on, I know it should be slower with AC on but I can't even catch up to this rav4 without floor it and have it down shift 2 gears or something.

The car becomes a little more responsive if I stop the car for 5-10 mins or more (engine on or off).

I am not sure if it's the heat, ecu, transmission or the throttle or neither. Any G gurus out there that can enlighten me on this issue or is suppose to be like this? Any mods that will help alleviate problem?

Sorry if this doesn't make any sense, but I want to get some insights before taking it to the shop.

Thank you

I don't know the source of the problem, but I'd first try resetting the ECU by unplugging the battery for a few hours.

^+1 it would be best to leave it overnight...

Is your air/gas filter clean?

Might also be a bad cat. A plugged one will generate a lot of heat and really drop your performance.

check you fluids. Ignore the previous suggestions. None of your problems could be sourced with the info you have been given so far.

Check spark plugs. Bad plug will allow raw fuel to be dumped into the exhaust and burn in the catalytic converter. Do you have drastic drop in fuel economy? That's a good indication of that and your ECU will not throw out any codes. A friend had a Mustang with similar problem.

Thank you for your input. I am not really sure if my fuel mileage is bad or not. I get around 420km a tank. But I will definitely have my plugs checked.

Thank you
