engine trouble

Ok here is my question..

I have 03 G35 6mt. 99k miles. Car has been driving hard at times but normal daily driver car.

Added upgrades.. K&N filter, ISO Motordyne 5/16” spacer, Helex test pipes.

The problem number #4 O2 sencer (heated one)RT header bad. (throwing code)

The reaction, when under normal driving conditions I feel a jerky movement with the car @ a 50 mph roll here and there. Not all the time but I did experience about three to four of these.

At idle this happens normal now just stared maybe a month ago. Feel like the engine is knocking a lill. I thought it was bad gas. So I burn out the old gas use shell and Sunoco 93 all the time. Car still has the shakes. One time car just cut off and died. I cleaned air filter, spray MAF spay to clean the MAF and throttle body. Quick fix for the stalling factor.

Issues still happening. Car is still acting up. I really tried all options and checked all the codes still don’t know why my car is doing this.

Any advice I have a Utec sitting in my room should I brake that out and install so I can control fuel and timing? Should I check the fuel filter in the tank?

Thanks
Lance

OBTW. I use royal Purple 10/30 for my oil changes.

try the throttle body idle reset procedure, many people experience problems when cleaning or when disconnecting the throttle body.

I'm not sure why it's triggering an O2 sensor code though.

bythabay has some great DIY videos...https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...eo-series.html

although there's also plenty of written DIY's, just do a search on "throttle body idle". Plenty of results show up with no effort.

slip, vdc and cel are usually tire or brake related, or if you have aftermarket wheels, check your staggered sizes. Check your tire pressure and brake fluid. Sometimes it just comes on when you hammer it and tires spin loose.

Change the 02 sensor that is throwing the code. Do not use the UTEC to change fuel/ignition hoping that it will fix the problem. Instead, fix the problem the right way, then install the UTEC.
