Intake ques

hey

when i bought my car it already had an aem intake on it. im looking to change my intake to a jwt popcharger or stillen

now since my car didnt come with the stock intake what do i need to install either one of those intakes?

i know ill need a z tube and either 1 of those intakes but what else do i need?

isnt there a tube that connects the the TB to the ztube?

thanks
mike

why change it? you'll have the same result... people on this board often recommend the JWT popcharger because it produces the same result at a lower cost..

If your AEM intake piping is two pieces, you should be able to remove the lower piece and attach the filter to what is still on the car to have a direct ram(like what the JWT pop charger/stock is)

I would just keep the AEM, unless sound is what you are going after because they definitely sound different

the aem is more like a whistling noise where as the pop charger roars.

it is a 2 piece but the 1st piece dosent have a bracket to bolt down to make it sturdy so it moves around which ppl have told me itll break the maf sensor and not suppose to give that much play. maybe its suppose 2 b like that?
