What do I need to make my motor a Rev-up

i have an 04 5at and was wondering what can be done to make the engine perform better. The motor has a Kinetix V+ plenum, z-tube, Stillen airbox w/ JWT filter, HFC, JIC y pipe, JIC 3" single exhaust and stock headers. Would it hurt to have a MREV2 added? or would I be running lean? Is there a bigger difference to have the UTEC instead? I could save a lil more and get that instead of the MREV2 if that works better.

Overall, I just want to make the car run better w/o having to spend the extra and go F/I...thanks ahead for any info..

if you want a Revup motor you need to buy an 05-07 6MT.

With the mods you have listed it would be best for you to have your car dyno tuned properly. This is where the UTEC or Osiris come into play. There are others too of course. Look at motordyneengineering.com to see the gains the MREV has on the non-revup engine.

so u recommend that I get the utec instead and have it tuned? if so, then i won't bother with getting the mrev...I'd rather have my car running well and better..i was also told that adding a grounding kit will help the tranny ship smoother and better too...is that true?

I can't comment on the ground wire kit, I have a 6MT. If I were in your shoes I would buy the UTEC or the Osiris first and have the car tuned.

Well you would have to find out a way to make your engine burn a bunch of oil.

Only way to have a rev-up is to get a rev-up. Keep yours and keep going with the mods.

Cams, ECU, heads, bigger airbox. 6MT is what i can think off the top of my head.

Not worth it.
