ASP pulleys are here!

ok, i just got my asp pulley kit in the mail. i took a couple pix. no rubber damper and very similar to the URs. they are not as drastic a change as the UR's though i believe. havent decided yet if I am going to install them.

as for the quality of them, they are very very well made. the quality is much much better than the stock ones. also, weight-wise, they are much much lighter.

looking at the stock pulley, that rubber piece is pretty darn small.

What do you mean lightening holes? I thought electricity would go through the metal not through the holes??

Re: ASP pulleys are here!

well, theres arent as light as the UR's i dont think.

but i just noticed that on one side of the crank pulley...i think thats the big one right... there are 3 lines that they cut...my guess is that it is to get them weighted right. dunno though.

any "specialists" want to take a look at them and post a "professional" opinion?

here is some info i got from them through an earlier email:

Just to confirm, the crank is underdriven and not just lighter than stock?

Re: ASP pulleys are here!

There is a big difference between UR and ASP pulleys, not just in weight... Quality Also, we've been selling UR pulleys for a while now, and i've always had issues with installing ASP pulleys. Usually we always have to shave the keyways to make them fit, where as the UR pulleys just slide in. Plus weight, just hold them both in your hands, you'll notice a huge difference. I would only put quality products on the Gs, and ASP would not go on my G, that's just me

well, not to knock you or anything, but I no longer trust the opinions of most retailers. and ASP said something similar about the UR's. go figure.
