I run Ams

have used Mobile 1, Royal Purple... I prefer Ams

Currently using german castrol since it is available from autozone again. Have used Amsoil, mobil 1, pennzoil platinum as well. All seem to have done a good job without significant amounts of consumption in my revup.

There is no best oil. Stick with what works for you and you are happy with.

I have used RP through 3 cycle of oil changes and from my experience, RP is great in the 1st month but my engine gets louder/decrease mileage about 1 1/2 months into each cycle. I cleaned my air filter before all three cycles and have not used it since. I've gotten better results with Penzoil Platinum.

alright looks like i am going to go with amsoil. Can i get this at autozone? and what kind should i get. i live in socal and have around 64k on my car.

Some stores stock it, sometimes. Might be better off to find a dealer and have it shipped.

some of the Napa stores carry it... Super Autobacs does too, but they never have the kind I use.

You can also find a distributor

in our climate (So Cal) 0-30 is fine
