Does Infiniti mind?

By installing a Z tube, do I void the warranty? I'm going to need that extra 8 hp after learning of the 2005 gains.
Thanks.

8hp from the z tube? LOL! I would be surprised if it gave you 3 whp. As far as warranty, it shouldn't be much of a concern. Read the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975 to get a better understanding of warranty to law. Basically, the Z tube would have to cause a failure for it to affect your warranty. Read the law for yourself, though. To quote The Clash, "Know your rights."

Re: Does Infiniti mind?

The car and the part are sourced from the same company (Nissan). How could they complain? Same engine as the Z also. The only thing they could try to pin on you is a botched install, and the ONLY if the part could reasonably be presumed to have caused the issue.
