blaZt?? Has anybody seen it or heard of it?
http://www.blazt.biz/index.php
I came across this today, blaZt Automotive Engine Software. They make a program call Nissan Data Scan Version II used to "Download engine codes, data log engine computer statistics, check car performance and much much more." It also comes The blaZt.II OBDII scan tool USB cable to connect to your PC.

Let me what you think.

This was one I was looking at previously.
However the interface of blaZt and the variety of features it has greatly outperforms that of the Uprev product in my opinion.
If you watch the videos the have on their site and pay particular attention to the Timing Adjust video you'll see that it took can read the stock wideband 02 sensors making it just as useful as the Cipher cable by Uprev.
I plan on purchasing one of these sometime in the near future and will put up a review of the two in comparison to one another.

^ The interface from what I can see by the screenshots seems easier to read than the one by Uprev. It also has some interesting features that Cipher does not have such as being able to calculate x mph to y mph times or adjusting timing at a greater amount than -/+2 (Cipher can only do -/+2). That's what I meant by "outperforms".
In addition to this is the value of the BlaZt that I can tell so far... If they perform basically the same actions and considering that Cipher is $300 while the BlaZt is only $147.50 it's easy to see which is a better value.
I'll be able to provide a more detailed analysis once I purchase one and can compare the two side by side obviously.
I got my Cipher for a good price and so it wasn't too painful of a buy and frankly it has been of great use to me thus far. Now, if the blazt doesn't have a function to read the stock wideband O2 sensors the question arises as to whether or not the $150 difference is worth it.
I feel that $150 difference is better spent on a separate wideband O2 sensor such as an innovate or aem unit.

Update: I just placed my order for the cable and the software, I should have it by the middle of the week. I'll start messing with it thursday evening or friday.
Its all the rave with the 300ZX crowd, you can get a better price on it as well if you go through the group buy on twinturbo.net...been around for years, free software updates, the OBDII cable and software works on SOME other non-nissans as well. Here's a list of what it covers:
Infinity FX35 (VQ35DE)
Nissan 350Z Z33
Nissan Maxima A33, J31 (VQ30DE),
Nissan Frontier
Nissan Murano Z50 (VQ35DE)
Nissan Pathfinder R50 (VG33DE)
Nissan Xterra
Nissan Almera Tino V10
Nissan Altima L31 (VQ35DE)
Nissan Frontier D40 (VQ40DE) A34 (VQ35DE),
J31 Nissan Micra K11 (1999 or later)
Nissan Micra K12
Nissan Note E11
Nissan Primera P11 (1999 or later)
Nissan Primera P12
Nissan Pulsar N16
Nissan Quest 2004+ (VQ35DE)
Nissan Skyline V35 350GT
Nissan Titan (VK56DE)
Nissan Xterra N50 (VQ40DE)
Nissan Xtrail T30
The cable also works as a generic code scanner on other obd2 cars that use the KWP protocol (Nissans, some BMWs, some Bentleys, some GM, Hyundai, Merc, Subaru, some suzuki).
Does not work on:
Nissan Navara D14, D40 (diesel)
Nissan Pathfinder R51
Nissan Qashqai J10
Nissan Wingroad Y12
Nissan Xtrail T31
Any aftermarket standalone EMS such as an AEM EMS, but it will still work on "chipped" ECUs.
$135 shipped from the twinturbo source.
