HELP!!! Car shakes past 2200 RPM

edit: resolved. It was a vac hose leak.

I think u need new coils (not sure if thats what u call them) any way the black stuff which goes on your sprakplugs ....is the check engine light on ???

No check engine lights. (It is not on). Man car only has 15K miles.

ok it happend to me.......when I had 20k one of mine coils broke and the car was shaking really bad becouse one of the cylinders missfired also when I was accelerating the car was going crazy ....any mods to the ECU??? maybe bad tune??

ok here is what u should do .....go to the car put the key in 2nd position <dont start the car ...all the lights should come up> open ur hood and disconect positive cable form the battery wait 2 min and hook the cable back to the battery then start the car and see what happends let me know...

key in second position dont start the car all the lights should come up

ok this will reset your ECU..dealers do the same think to delete any error codes.but they use comuter to do that...if the shaking repeats again then take it to the dealer

Ugh...happened to me first time last night...I have an 04 coupe with 52k and it would only shift 10 mph per gear otherwise if I tried to go faster it shook like crazy. What ended up being the problem ? Please let me know cause I don't know where to start !

I took it to the dealer and b/c I couldn't reproduce the shaking they said my car was fine. But they took a look at it with their computers.
