Many clutch manufactures will be utilizing a base component list that is specific to the 07/03+ models. That being said there are a few parts that are different for the earlier models and this can greatly affect the way that the clutch works. Here is a list of part numbers relative to the early cars (if used with a later style clutch assembly):
Nissan Part# Discription
30531-CD000 Clutch Fork
30537-CD000 Pilot Bearing
30501-SO284 Bearing Retainer/Sleeve
30514-CD000 Spring
11058-H1001 Washer
30534-66300 Spring Retainer
This should be everything needed to retro-fit an early car with the hard parts needed to use a later (07/03+) model clutch assembly.
Your discription of the issues of starting the car continue to support the likelyhood that either you also have the incorrect flywheel trigger (which means that you were sent an 07+ applicable flywheel) or that your crank possition sensor is not functioning properly. I hope this info helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks!

Its turning off because you need to clean your throttle body. When most people change battery a 60k miles. It turns off, if you clean throttle body, its runs healty again. It happened to me too. I changed out clutch and it kept turning off, so I cleaned throttle body and its fine. It seems as if our cars need throttle body cleaning quite often, or whenever battery has been disconnected for more than a few minutes. This has nothing to do with mav sensor. I guarantee you this will fix the problem.
