Angry Need your help on removing oil filter

This time I just can't remove the oil filter on G35 Coupe. I have been trying my best to remove it for more than 2 hours. Last time I tightened it by my hand only. I really hate the small space. Can any one recommend a good oil filter wrench for me? Thanks a lot

screwdriver

hammer a screwdriver through it ( more so near the top)

and spin that puppy off

edit : if you have a extra mode of transportation .. go to the auto store (if they are still open) and get a adjustable oil filter wrench

Got an old drive belt or something grippy you can wrap around? A hose clamp you can attach and get some pliers on? I've resorted to hammering the screwdriver through before, too.

Hi GL

Usually which filter do you use, coz the space is really small...

There was a tip in Grassroots Motorsports: use sandpaper to grip the oil filter (rough side towards filter). Otherwise, as a last resort, use the screwdriver method. Also, before installing the new filter, place some oil on the gasket to make it easier to remove next time. Hope this helps.
