Re: Nismo or Hotchkis sway bars

The hotchkis sways manual says to grease them(bushings) every year so they don't start squeaking.

Man, you must have used a lift or something. My sway bars did not look like that at all after installing them. The rear was scratched all over from me trying to manuver it around the exhaust pipe into position. Good job.

Re: Nismo or Hotchkis sway bars

Highly recommendee Titan Motorsport. I called them this afternoon around 4:30pm EST and ordered by phone. I forgot to mention the group buy, but $260 shipped 3 day express is still one hell of a deal. By 7:00pm EST I got a e-mail saying the package has been picked up by Fed Ex and the ETA is three days.

Damn......... talk about efficiency and service. Wow, reminds me of that IBM "On Demand" commercial. Mad props to Titan. Now if they would sell some Volks at discounted price.

*btw: I am not affiliated with Titan in anyway, I was just very pleased with the speed in the transaction.

There is a grease fitting for the rear sways so it would be simple to lube.

Re: Nismo or Hotchkis sway bars

I had to disconnect the exhaust so I can install it quicker. It was just three bolts to unscrew so it was easier than trying to wiggle the damn thing in place. The beauty of power tools.

I installed the Nismo Sway and its almost the same as the nismo one...only the front is thicker...i dont think its really worth the money of buy...i should go for spring then that sway bar/.....

Nismo Sway = nismo one so they should be the same!!!!

However, I am pretty sure you meant hotchkis sways vs. nismo. If it is thicker, that means it can give a stiffer feel if you so desired. Plus, the hotchkis is adjustable while the nismo is not. So, IMO the hotchkis is well worth the money for $250.

Re: Nismo or Hotchkis sway bars

The Hotchkis sways aren't listed on Titan Motorsports website...I guess I'll have to call them. Funny thing is that I live 3 miles from Hotchkis, but it's cheaper to buy from a vendor even after shipping, then to go directly to Hotchkis.

That's generally true of most manufacturers. Manufacturers don't want to undercut their distributors.
