i will start with the beginin... i'm driving on a 90(km/h) road on fifth gear(shiftronic) and when i am going to shift a car , i realize that i will need more power so i downshift one gear and push the gas . now that the problem begin . three light goes on (service engine soon , slip and vdc off) ans reach the cut-off (redline) a 5k rpm ?!? . first thing i think was .. i will turn off the car and restart it . the car start normaly but thethree light are still on ...

3 or 4 hour later i went to star the car and it dont want to start . the only way i can start it is by pushing a litle bit the gas pedal (start without the gas pedal when is hot but long to start) . not so hot when you get in a g35 and it dont start normaly ?!! lol

i have try to unpluged the batery but nothing change , my car still have problem to start . what the hell can be the problem ? i will probably go to the dealer , gonna be expensive !!

 

probably the throttle body not working right. try to run the codes to see what exactly is malfunctioning, seems like the car went into Limp mode.

 

Tommy, try this....disconnect the negative side of your battery for an hour
or so. Doing this might get you out of limp dick mode....

what exacly mean limb mode ? it strange cause when the car is started ... it run normaly

 

limp mode is a limited performance mode that the computer puts the car into to allow you to get to safety, so if you cant rev past 5K this is probably it.

 

ok ok now i can rev up to the redline. 5k redline just hapen one time ... well.. i'll go to the infinity dealer , electronic is not my way !:P

 

or you can do the manual ecu reset. same as removing the battery to allow the ecu to reset but it can be done in under a minute. timing is the key

I had all my lights too when my friend screwed up some tuning but the manual reset did its job and lights all went out after.
