Auto transmission question

I hope this is the right section, it does say drivetrain. I just picked up a cpo'd g35 coupe. When I go to start the car from a cold start when putting my 06/at @ 40k from park to drive or park to reverse the car jerks pretty harshly, at least compared to my previous Honda/Acura's. Just wondering if this was normal. thanks. Ive taken it back to the dealer and they have found no problems.

"When I go to start the car from a cold start when putting my 06/at @ 40k from park to drive or park to reverse the car jerks pretty harshly".

The AT only operates correctly when the ATF is up to operating temperature. This takes 5-10 minutes after COLD cranking. Just as cold engine oil doesn't lubricate well, same with cold ATF.

Failure to properly warm up lubricants is number 1 cause of wear and failures.

Are you parking your car on an incline/decline?
