Too much air, not enough fuel???

hi.

ill start off by saying what is done to the car

HKS Dual Exhaust
AMK headers
AMK resonated Downpipes
Ztube, JWT pop charger
MD 1/2 Spacer
Kinetix upper Plenum
MREV2 lower plenum
Grounding Kit

now my question is: after i finish putting the last few things on the motor and reset the ecu with the negative battery terminal, will the car run smooth and have the increased power it should with all the NA bolt on parts or will it be lacking fuel with all the air being pushed into the motor now??

and yes tuning is comming in the near future for all you people that are gonna say it. im not new to the tuner game. just used to be a acura honda guru but made the switch over to the G family. n never looked back haha

thanks

as long as you keep it below 3-3500rpms you should be ok until you tune..but imo id try and stay out of the pedal

You'll need a flash for sure. But idle and part throttle should be okay. It's when you go WOT is where you will probably lean out.

Why are you running a 1/2" spacer with the Kinetix plenum? Talk to Tony @ Motordyne about this, I think it might be overkill and actually hurt.

Onto the fuel issue, it's no secret that the VQ runs lean from the factory at lower RPM's (<4000 RPM). That said, with your breathing mods you may run even more lean. Be careful and only use 91 octane minimum until you can get her tuned. I highly recommend Osiris from Uprev.

I highly doubt your AFR is "bad" at WOT. This engine uses a MAF sensor, not a MAP sensor. It will "see" the increased airflow and compensate.

You won't blow your engine with some basic NA mods like you have.

If I were you I would run the MREV and 1/2" spacer, sell the Kinetix.

Again, you will be fine running what you have, but a tune will get your A/F ratio back to where it should be.

i herd about the timing and 2 degrees but why?? also it seems like every1 is split between changing the timing or to leave it alone.

do you only advance it when you have alot of breather mods on??

thanks

also will the mrev2 lower n kinetix upper with the 5/16 spacer be a good combo?? i looking for the most possible gains outta everything while working together. so if you wanna give me a proven killa combo fo parts im all for it

n the reason im doing alot of these mods is ill be getting the vortec in about 6 to 9 months,

thanks agian
