Rev Limited Question

I've had the car about a month and a half. Ita an 06 MT. I redlined first gear today, but instead of bounching off the rev limited, I noticed I was around 7200 to 7300 rpms. I thought the limited was at 7000. Could the previous owner have chipped and remapped the ECU or could it be something else?

^^You so smart.

How are the H Techs settling? Is your rear still a little higher than the front?

The factory tachometer is not very accurate. When my tach reads 7300 my Cipher and dyno read 7000 rpm. Also, the factory rev limiter is not set at redline.

Screw school I study Gs.

It's weird actually, on the slightest slope the front looks quite a bit bigger but on fully flat ground they look exactly the same. And I am talking like a 4 degree slope...

Rev-Up engine redlines at 7000 RPMS and the rev limiter is set at 7200 rpms.

the DE redlines at 6600 and the limiter is at 6800.
