Upgraded Aluminum Radiators

I am upgrading my radiator to an aluminum one. However I have a 350z radiator and it requires some modification of the front shroud to fit. Does anyone have a sedan specific aluminum radiator? I am wondering if it requires modification to fit or is it a direct replacement. If there is one available for the sedan that is reasonably priced, I'd just go that route.

TIA

I'll soon be going with the Mishimoto radiator. They make one that is supposedly a direct drop in and it's larger than stock.

I have a Mishimoto radiator. I bought it like 7 months ago when I began my turbo build. Just tried test fitting it a few weeks ago and it won't sit properly. The tabs push it back towards the motor when the AC condenser is put onto it. Also the holes, on top where the OEM holders go, the radiator I have is about an inch inwards on both holes. (hard to explain, I can post a pic when I get a chance)

Do you have the Mishimoto for the 350Z or the G35 specific one? They're different.

Stillen makes one for the sedans now. $400 or so.

I am about %99 positive its a 350z radiator. Do the coupes and sedan share the exact same radiator?

There's your problem. The G35 Coupe and Sedan share the same radiators, as long as you match MT to MT and AT to AT. The AT radiator has the built in trans cooler.

Thank you. I will see if I can get it swapped. Its been so long but I am pretty sure I ordered the coupe radiator. So a new upgraded radiator shouldn't require any modifications to fit?

Are you sure that you're sure? The 350Z radiator and the G35 radiator mount differently.

It really all depends on what aftermarket radiator you go with. First, Mishimoto only offered the 350Z radiator and recently released a G35 specific application. Supposedly, the G35 specific application is a direct drop in replacement for us MT guys.

yeah. 350z's bumpers different; good luck though... i'd LOVE to see that work, itd obv be a lot cheaper to have the thousands of 350z vendors at our disposal than ONLY a 400.00 stillen.

I have a larger AMS 350Z radiator in my car. Not even close and required a number of modifications to fit.

There is a directly replacement Mishimoto like 6MTFTW said...it was just recently released. If you purchased your radiator 7 months ago than you have the 350Z version.

Try to sell that on my350z.com and buy yourself a Mishimoto G35 radiator.

DO you have the radiator or are your just repeating what you have read? SxExXx or whatever installed the g35 version and it was not drop in.

Please verify you actual own this radiator
