I also live in S. FL and after reading all the other posts a couple months ago, I went with the Z tube/K&N drop-in filter combo and love it...definitely the best bang for your buck (about $128 for both including shipping) and easy to install!!! You can't go wrong with this mod; the sound is very addictive and from what some get on the dynos, it adds a few HP too ;-)

Re: which one to get ..(CAI)
like bsgoren said, I think K&N drop in with Z-tube is good easy way to go. I guess the Pop-charger is good alternative way.
I had K&N Typhoon, it's great but makes whining sound(sound like beat up car trying to to car, somewhat scratching sound). So, after search I got two options, Pop charger and K&N drop in with Z-tube. I bought and installed K&N drop in with Z-tube from nissanperformance.com.. I would love to try Pop-charger also, but I just don't like too loud sound(I would kill to get short 'Psh' sound when WOT with Pop-charger, my car does that too with z-tube and K&N drop in but not too loud for poeple in street to hear..I can hear them tho^^)..
It's depends on your preference. I don't think it makes much difference in performance(it will little bit, but not too much) but it will make sound different. I have to say both Pop-charger and K&N drop in are easy to clean where as CAI(like Typhoon) you have to take out the few parts to get to filter and wash them).
Either choice will bring you a smile in your face~~

Re: which one to get ..(CAI)
For me, the P.C. seem like the least desirable way to go. Why let your intake ingest all the hot air from the engine compartment?...
I would stick with the Injen or Stillen.

Re: which one to get ..(CAI)

Re: which one to get ..(CAI)
I would run the Stillen intake. It does a much better job of blocking heat than the pop charger, has a clean stock look to it. Very sleeper. And without the z-tube dyno's 5HP to the wheels. Not to mention its much safer and cheaper than the Injen.
Re: which one to get ..(CAI)
if you have a sedan i'd say go ahead and get sillen since it increases 12 hp, but if you have a coupe i'm pretty sure it only produces 5 hp. Also, whats the hp difference between z-tube with k&n, and z-tube w/ pop charger?? which produces more?

Where did you get those numbers?
The short answer is NO. You're lucky to see an average of 5hp across the rpm range with any of the intake mods. The Injen CAI and Greddy Exhaust combo on a stock 2003.5 6MT coupe gained ZERO HP over the entire rpm range (actually dipped a little on the shy side of stock) at the Central FL Dyno Day. I'd recommend the Z-Tube and K&N (as mentioned above). Heat and water can be enemies of most CAI's, the stock air box does a great job, so why switch it out?
The above statements are only my take on the issue. If you disagree with anything I typed then you are 100% right!
