I noticed acouple times on start up my car tends to make a loud long squeaky sound. Today I actually heard that sound again when I was turning the wheel fully left or right it makes a long squeak. I recently changed my drive belts could it be that they are too tight? I searched and found similar probs but wanna make sure its the drive belts before i loosen them. Thanks

 

I think it's more like the belts are too loose... as for the sound when you turn your wheel, that's the power steering.

 

o woops I did mean loose, the power steering? I have only 47k miles on my 04 coupe doesn't it need changing at 90k?

 

belts are definitely loose...you should be able to tell which one (or if both) are squeaking by listening with the hood open.
