Question Rough idle after swap

Hey guys,
so i replaced the motor in my car and i just got it to the point of starting last night and it starts up no problem and not even a check engine light! but after it warms up it gets a really rough idle to it and almost wants to die, i have no idea what it could be, im hoping something stupid but im stumped here anyone have any ideas on stuff to check? and the wierd thing is that the car doesn not even sound like it wants to die it kinda drops to a really low rpm then shoots back up to about 12-1500 then levels out then back down and shoots up again. almost like a realllllyyyyy long cam lope i guess but anyway any idea's will help

not holding a steady idle?

I would do the ECU reset, gas pedal closed position relearn, and the idle air volume relearn procedures.
