You are a lot more understanding about it than I would be at this point.

That sucks!

I'd be upset too.

we've had this happen a few times here where people have oil consumption on their new motors. ALWAYS take it back to the dealership to immediately begin OC testing. Do not wait. The longer you put it off, the less of a leg to stand on with the warranty you will have.

also, most dealerships will not care about the simple bolt on mods you've done, but if you are frightened, put them back to stock for peace of mind.

we do not consider intake plenums / spacers, intakes, exhausts etc as a factor when looking at OC testing. They have no relevence.

I was only suggesting that because OP said he was out of warranty on the engine.

Well Im going in to the Stealership next week, and my argument is this. They have been doing all of my oil changes on this engine since I got it. They had to know that there wasnt any oil being drained, due to the blowby. This kind of stuff doesnt just mysteriously happen after the **** warranty is up.

I WONT GO DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT!

SlickSilverG, you are weird! I do not know how you fixed your problem, but running the ***** off your G isnt the way. This is a common problem with our engines, and all your doing is subtracting piston strokes off of the life of the engine. The compresion ratio does not change weather your running her ***** out or not. I already have 15 thousand, very hard miles on this new engine. By going beyond my normal highway speeding, I will be talking to the devil.

Im buying a subaru to do my tracking because this car obviously cant take it. Its either that or just my luck.

God damnit, I dont know what it is about your face, but I want to deliver one of these, right to your suckhole!

But anyway, good luck.

So, I finally have something to blog about.

I Went to the dealership about two weeks ago, and started the oil consumption test. I dont know if they put thicker weight oil in the car, if they worked some kind of magic, or the person who last did the oil change at Infiniti was a flunky, but I checked the oil yesterday at about 950 miles. Still completely full. I talked to Infiniti and told them this, and they said theres really no use in comming back in if its full.

The reason why this is bugging me, is because I really like this car. I love how it looks, how it drives, the attention people give it, and all its quirks. The one thing I wanted was a little bit more power. I added a few boltons for about 2 months to get that growl out of the engine but still not enough HP. So the next step was to SC or Turbo it. Well, I just dont think I want to sink all this money into this car to possibly blow the bottom end out at 9lbs.

Solution! I am selling the car to buy the car ive wanted since it came out. DONT FLAME PLEASE. The 2010 Camaro 2SS. LS3 426hp. Beautiful bullet proof engine. I love it.

I will be selling my car on here first in a few days. I have a couple of things done to the car, and a couple of my boltons that have like 3k miles on them, along with stillen sway bars (never used), and berk high flow cats (never used).

If anyone is interested please PM me.

Good luck with selling your car and good choice on the Camaro. Always been a Ford guy but the new Camaros are all to nice!!!

Hit me up if you are looking for parts for the Camaro once you get it. Pretty sure I can get you plenty of things that will make this car growl
