theres not much you can do here. you can shrink the diameter of the tube by pulling the two rubber ends closer (so they somewhat overlap) but at a loss of air flow. or you can just have both openings face toward the front so that heated air from the engine is blocked. either way you wont be noticing much of a difference, as long as a majority of it is sealed you should be fine. some people even run their popchargers without the heatshield, but i remember that setup putting out less rwhp on dynos than the ones with the heatshield installed.

I stretched it out as far as I could and used zipties to hold it in place.
