Weird Sound

When I FIRST put my car in drive and step on the gas, there is a funny sound like my car is going over gravel or something is scratching. Not sure if it's from the engine or not, but it really bugs me. Anyone else have this problem??

Please help

I think you're talking about the ABS self test. If you have your foot on the brake when it happens you'll feel it vibrate. Mine happens somewhere ~ 10 MPH every time I start the car.

It's perfectly normal, start worrying if you don't hear it.

I agree with Blue, it could be you abs doing a self test. It happens only right after starting your car and then never comes back? If it is from the rear and sounds like a creaking noise there is a bulletin to re-lube your axle splines for the g and 350z. Try and have someone stand outside your vehicle at the rear wheels and try and replicate the noise and see if it is that.
