Intake Twister???

Has anyone heard of an Intake Twister?

This is what id posted on Ebay..........
Increase your gas mileage by 5-10 miles per gallon and increase your hp by up to +10hp!!!!
This is for real !! If you don't feel the difference and gain mpg
you get you money back!! $21.00

How does it work? The intake twister installs in your intake tube, and as the air passes through it, it will start spinning. when the air hits the gas to combust, it spreads the gas out to get a full combustion. Full combustion increases your mpg and adds hp. It very simple to install (more simple than changing your oil), it only takes a few minutes and comes with step by step instructions.

What do you guys think?????

Re: Intake Twister???

I bought three of them and i got 45rwhp.
I put one in the intake and one in each exhaust tip, the air comes gushing out so much faster now, it almost feels like a jet engine propelling me forward!!!!!

Re: Intake Twister???

So are you suggesting that I get one? Do they mess up the engine at all? Just questioning since I haven't heard of them on this site before.

Re: Intake Twister???

Don't get one of those it's a gimmick. If it were only 21 dollars for 10hp and an extra 10MPG they would be on every car.

Thanks - Joey Avino

Re: Intake Twister???

there was one product out that was actually a powerful electric fan that you put in the intake to mimic the supercharger affect. that might actually work.

this on the other hand is the biggest bull ive ever heard of.

Re: Intake Twister???

This is snake oil going back to the carbureted days. The whole basis is that it provides a more complete air fuel mixture. High pressure fuel injectors create a far better fog of fuel than any gizmo will. Besides, the injector is right in front of the intake valve, spinning air in the intake tube won't do anything but decrease the airflow (straight moves faster).

BTW, it won't work on a carb either. The heavy fuel particles would separate if the air/fuel mixture were really 'swirled'.

Re: Intake Twister???

I got two of those tonradoe things on two separate intakes I fabricated myself. But then when both of them. The only problem was at the junction point one of them was spinning the air counter clockwise while the other was clockwise. yeah... I don't konw what else to say, sorry. If you do a search, you'll see that this thing has been discounted many times.

Re: Intake Twister???

That "powerful electric fan" is actually a marine bilge blower and does nothing other than come apart and ruin your motor with plastic parts!
