i need help... saturday night i was getting on it a little bit and figured i would ride it out in neutral... and all of a sudden my steering wheels gets tight and all the warning lights on the gauge cluster were on as if i had the key in acc... scared the crap out of me.. is it because i'm running lean... i think i'm experiencing what other people have with the Injen but that was fine till i put on the DC sports headers and Helix Test Pipes.. Thanks for ya'll's expertise...

 

Isn't that the well documented Injen stall in neutral
"known issue"? Don't slip into neutral and coast.

but it's weird i had the injen as long as i remembered and it never did that... i used to throw it in neutral bcause i wanted to see if i had the same problem... but i didn't til i put my headers on.. is there a way to fix this? is the car running lean?

 

My car stalls occasionally, as much as I hate to say it you kinda get used to it, and its not a big deal anymore. Just pop the clutch and it should start right back up.

my car does thing same thing, i think it has somethin to do with my instake (stillen) since the plenum i feel like its gotten better but than again i just remember to keep it in gear more.... plus it sounds sweeter whinin down, it def is embarising tho but i am nice at gettin it started back up quik,,,, thats an issue that i dont think the dealer could fix either.....

thats actually pretty common on stock 6 speeds as well, without any mods, no explantion yet though
