Anyone know how to do an "idle re-learn"?

I recently replaced my battery and now my car occasionally stalls after starting. The RMPs just gently fall to zero and it stalls.

My Nissan mechanic emailed me and said he thinks it needs an idle re-learn.

Anyone know how to do this? If I can do it myself it will save me a trip to the dealer.

Thanks.
