APS at SEMA

i am one of the many salivating to see the APS plenum. I checked their wedsite and lo and behold they will be at SEMA, and as luck will have it I will be in Vegas for a separate convention during the same time period. While there I am definately going to track them down to push them on the plenum availability. Let me know if there are other issues you want me to put forth in person.

Don't forget to bring your camera!

I don't see JWT in the list of exhibiters. Too bad, was hoping to get more info on their twin turbo.

Re: APS at SEMA

You could press them on the turbo kit for the sedan. I've been told that they only plan to produce a kit for the coupe.

They might also appreciate compliments on their design and build. Their turbo kit promises to be the best of those available.

A key question of course is engine management. How will they do it? What will they do with A/F ratio and timing? What are their target boost ranges and WHP figures?

Will they provide a low output version for stock engine internals? What are their recommendations and priorities for changeouts of engine internals?

Re: APS at SEMA

I'd like to know if their new Plenum will allow us to use the existing engine cover. I also heard from a local dealer in NJ that it won't be available until December and not November as was originally stated. Can you find out if this is true or not.

Re: APS at SEMA

I know they have ordered a coupe and (accroding to Peter @APS) should be done with fitment by ~December and availability in ~March. No commitment for Sedans, but surely alteration from the Coupe to the Sedan woudl be minimal. All Fuel management etc will be identical to the that 350Z kit, more thna enough info on the APS website.

Per Peter from APS as posted 08-22-04 on THIS my350z.com thread.
In reply to:

Now I don't believe that the APS cat back or test pipes will be available in the US until November (sorry) and the plenun release will msot likely be in December............there is still loads of testing to be completed on the plenum prior to release. If this time frame changes or the exhaust products become available at an earlier date I will post the info asap.
