Re: SIDE MIRROR

Those mirrors are from Japan. You can probably get them, but I believe there are some problems. The main problem is that they drive on the wrong side of the road over there! That means that the angles in the mirrors are different. So when you put a mirror from the left hand side of a Japanese car on the left hand side of an American car, they point in somewhat different directions.

I remember reading about this a long time ago, I don't remember if this was hard to fix or not, but I don't know of any people doing this. So maybe it isn't all that easy.

Re: SIDE MIRROR

Do you mean they send you one with "Objects in mirror are closer than they appear (in Japanese of course)" on the mirror cause they drive on the left side?? lol

Re: SIDE MIRROR

Thats an OEM accessory from Nissan, the mirror will FOLD in automatically when you shut off the engine after parking. Also, the mirror will face the ground when reverse for safety purpose.

Re: SIDE MIRROR

I think it would be plug and play to install those mirrors. Notice in the pics that the mirror that is tilting down is on the right side which suits use perfectly for parking and avoid scratching the rims.

Re: SIDE MIRROR

I highly dount it would be plug and play. How is the mirror supposed to know when you are in reverse or in park and shut off the car. Sounds like a wiring nightmare to me.
