Transferring a 07 Sedan Engine to 07 Coupe?

So i was wondering the 06-07 350Z has a engine that has dual intakes compare to the 06/07 G35 Coupe it does not have it, except the Sedan.

Is it possible to transfer the 07 G35 Sedan engine w/ Dual Intake to the 07 G35 Coupe?
Or can you even make it possible?

You got it all wrong. 07~08 G35 sedans and 350Zs have the HR motor. G35 coupes never had HR motors in them. 08+ G coupes became G37.

HR motor swap would be possible, but you'd have to fork out quite a bit of money... IMO.

If you got the money anything is possible. If your contemplating this why not just get a G37, that engine is stronger and more efficient.

Yeah, but G37 Coupe does not look that good because of the style of it, I mean it is an okay looking car i dont have a problem with it but i say G35 Coupe has a better sexier style thats why i want to know if there can be a engine swap.

And i dont get why they made the 07/08 G35 Sedan have a dual intake and not the Coupe?

It would probably be cheaper to just go FI in your coupe.

+1

cost of swapping is very high...especially when you consider all the electrical gremlins that you will run into. DaveO at Nissan Sport Mag was doing a swap for track purposes and they were running into electrical nightmares.

Just go get a turbo/supercharger setup and tune it nice and conservative and you'll be making a lot more power than the HR anyways.
