5W/20 Oil
I would be concerned about shearing with that light of an oil. If it were me, I would change it. Seems like most of the stock or N/A guys either run 5W-30 or 0W-30 from what I have seen on the site. I prefer 0W-30.
-1 Bad advice. Just because its thicker doesnt mean its better. Nor does it being Royal Purple make it better.
If your car is in good shape and you don't drive it hard (track, mountain driving etc.) IMO you will be fine to run it until next change. I'd be curious to hear the reasoning of the 'change it right now' recommendations.
I agree with Wayne. If you don't beat the tar out of your Infiniti it's not something to be concerned about. Then again if you do, I'd be looking at something with greater viscosity than even the recommended 10w30.
As per the brand arguement, it's all personal preference. I used RP in my turbo Nissan and toyotas, along with castrol, Quaker state, and various others. Never had an issue with RP aside from it not staying purple haha. Oil that stuck out to be the best in the past was lubromoly, and recently I've taken a liking to the new Quaker state hp line. As long as one isn't running the bottom barrel crap one should be just fine..

Honestly the oler my engine gets on all cars Ive owned, the thicker the oil I used. Im still using 10w 30 on the g35. But on my old foxbody mustangs I used 10w40 the thicker oil can seal gaps better and get in places easier.
