DIY Wire Tuck
Nice job man. It's about time someone took the time to do a writeup

Would you mind if someone copied the pics and text and included it in a thread here on Driver (likely this one, but I will look and see if it's appropriate elsewhere)? All credit to you, of course. Then you wouldn't have to worry about maintaining it on G35mods. If you'd rather that didn't happen, just say so, it's completely cool.

Me and my buddy are planning to tackle this.. We are gonna do the headlights wire tuck on Saturday.. His motor is pulled right now can we do the main harness now or does the motor have to be in??
I would definately due the starter/alternator battery lead cable with engine out, its easier to drill and route cable by shock tower.
The engine harness can take 1-2 days depending on how quickly you get the Intake plenum rremoved and seperate harness. Engine harness is time consuming. It will take longer if you plan on depinning connectors for smaller wire sleeves.
The wire harness route along fender will take a day for both sides. Depending on how quickly you can remove/install fenders. I found it easier to remove fenders for drilling/routing wires also to mount ground wires to fender support. I extended the driver side headlight harness 6" to keep it out of view from engine bay. Some people don't need to extend headlight harness its all to your preference.
If its your DD I would plan 1 weekend for engine harness and another weekend for both fender harness.
Of course this does not include time for filling and smoothing engine bay after wire tuck, use body plugs and fabricate block off plates for a temporary solution.
