Hey guys!

Where do you guys buy your synthetic oils and oil filters?
I only know of amazon right now and I want to know where you guys buy your oils & oil filters at a great price.

Thanks!

Check the fliers of your local auto stores. They usually have sales on popular oils for VQ's.

For me in NYC, Autozone has sales on Castrol Syntec every other month.

I was at Wally World this past weekend and they have Castrol Syntec 5+ qt jugs for $18.50 here. You'll have to buy your filters somewhere else though, WW has a horrible selection.

If you change your oil every 3-5000 miles I don't think there is a significant difference between the 2. UOAs posted on Driver in the past haven't been very positive on the Mobil 1 but a lot of people swear by it.

Pennzoil Platinum (5 quart jugs) - usually around $21 to $23 at Walmart

Puralator Pureone - super cheap at AdvanceAuto when you apply their coupons

Thats for M1 5W-30, when compared to Castrols 5W30's. M1 sucks, Edge is better then syntec as well and has more additive for longer drain intervals. Its only like 2 bucks extra when on sale then syntec. I hear M1 EP and 0W-30/40 are pretty good.

I buy my oils at Autozone/Advanced/ or Pepboys when they have castrol oils on sale.

If not I just go to walmart, buy a 5quart bottle for like 26-30 bucks and a purolator filter still cheap.
