To help create working space, use string to tie the ps resevoir out of the way. I removed the one bolt attaching the coolant resevoir so it too could be move up and away for addtional space. And of course make sure you have the appropriate tools.
Hope this helps.
what does this dampener bolt to? I can't tell what that black box is that attaches to the body frame. You are putting the engine's side load into the body frame in a direction that it was not designed for....hmmmm....
Do high-end sports cars have these things already built in?

the dampener attaches two places according to the instructions (1) passenger side of timing chaing cover and (2) and to a bracket provided in package over power steering pump bracket. If I get it installed today, I'll attach a picture.
I installed the dampener today.. It was a bitch to install since it was soo cramped.. I recommend have a few C wrenchs and allen sockets. I did notice additional vibrations, but it bearable. Overall a good upgrade..
So after you installed the brace, there were additional vibrations?
What kind of grounding kit do you have?
How do you like the rear strut tower brace? Are you able to still use your trunk?

Yes, there was more vibration esp in the battery area. I need to figure out what is vibrating and secure it.
I made my own grounding kit using high quality audio 9 gauage power cables.
With the rear brace it is definitely stiffer in the rear. Since the brace located in the rear part of the trunk. I was still able to put a set of clubs in the trunk.

I was able to install it myself. It was a bitch too. You need to becareful not to tear the trunk coverings while removing it.. As far as tighting the strut bolts. I recommend inserting the bolt from bottom up and used a allen racket socket on one(bottom) end and a C wrench on the other(top)... There's not room to get a allen wrench in there. BTW you will need to drill 2 holes(One on each side of the trunk) into the chassis for the brackets. I used a razor blade to cut a plus shaped hole in the trunk coverings to slide the strut bar through.. It took me about an hour..
