IMO turbo is better but its all up to you... superchargers and turbos have the same purpose.. they add more air into your cylinders and more oxygen is more fuel = more BOOM (power). to keep it simple superchargers are powered directly by your engine while turbos are powered by your exhuast gas.
Because superchargers are attached and the turbine is turned by the engine it'll take some effort (horsepower) from the engine to make that power. so you'll loose a small amount of power from your engine inreturn for much more power from the blower.
Turbos on the other hand are powered by your exhuast gases and much like the supercharger; the higher your RPMs are the faster the blower will spin (boost). but beause the gas from your exhaust powers the turbine in a turbo you can have a very large turbo and eventually it'll spool up. thats why INTENSEPOWER said you can get much more power from a turbo versus a supercharger.
so why doesnt everyone go turbo? the downside of having a large turbo is that it'll take too long to spool up (turbo lag).. but unlike turbos superchargers have very little lag. have you ever watched racing videos where 2 cars race but before the countdown finishes one car is already on the gas spooling up his turbo... or a car gets a jump right when the race starts but when the other car's turbo spools up it flys by...
so in short..
Dyno-king = turbo
supercharger = less lag
but this can be elimiated with twin-turbo set ups.. there are many types of those... picking the right sized turbo.. pullys for a supercharger.. etc...
also if you do decide to go turbo... keep in mind it takes quite a bit of effort to turn a N/A motor into a full blown motor.. (internals, massive piping work, place for turbo(s), intercooler, and tuning tuning tuning)
edit: you dont have to buy a kit... you can always make your own
