ya. The spark plug tube seal are for life and it's some of thickest metal covers I have ever seen and I've seen plenty from other imports and domestics.

It's sad though because my oil burning VQ isn't even worth it.

No. Regular 12 volt coil packs. The only difference is that they use a lot more metal construction, such as the mounting tab, and as a result weigh more. They are needed to seal on the surface of the valve covers. The regular black coil packs do not seal.

Ya. I'm actually using my original gaskets with some 90k miles, because I gave some new ones to my loving mother. I shouldn't have given her ****. I also gave her the entire EVAP system off my car.

The spark plug tube seals though have to be from a Pathfinder or QX4.

I got everything for a steal. The covers I got for $55 both. I modified the oil filling tube for like $10 because it was too tall so I cut it and used a radiator hose to connect it back together with clamps. The coil packs I got for like $155 from some rolled Pathfinder. It's sad because it was driven harder than my car and it was ticking fine. The seals I got for like $3 each.

A junk yard in GA. These are the year ranger for the covers and the coil packs. Year ranges.

INFINITI QX4 (2000 - 2001)
NISSAN PATHFINDER (2001 - 2002)

This is how I modified the oil filler tube. And also I paid $31 for the spark plugs.

Also, do not remove the spark plug tube seals to install new ones, if anyone does this and buys the covers from a junk yard. It's not necessary to install new ones, they are lifetime seals.

Are the valve cover a perfect fit? Meaning do all the bolts and crap line up.

I was researching the 2010 Nissan Altima valve cover as a replacement, but the bolts for the engine cover don't line up.

Ya they do. Another thing to mention is when installing valve covers, ALWAYS press down slightly on the bolt as it's being tightened. Letting the bolts clamp the head and the covers on their own will strip the threads on the head or break the bolts. I broke one 2 years ago.

Also, I would use some oil on the threads of the cover bolts. They wont back out anyway.

Also I forgot to mention that I am using the Injected Performance lower plenum spacer to clear the breather tube on the driver side valve covers. It's not really necessary but the throttle body does press down on the breather tube without the spacer. I am also using custom length bolts for the lower plenum from Fastenal. I have the breather tube venting to atmosphere without a filter. It might also be possible to clear the TB just by trimming the breather tube, though I would much rather keep the covers intact.

Also an upper plenum spacer can be used, as long as it's .25"

Actually the QX4 is 2001-2003, Pathfinder 2001-2004.
