the design would be great for hp gains up top (I'd guess around 20hp at peak, maybe more) - but it would DRASTICALLY change the tq curve from it's previous flat line - this would be the one mod that could aid in getting G's/Z's over the 300hp mark N/A - but driving around town below the 4K mark, the car really wouldn't feel any different than before...

I'm definitely interested pending more information/dyno charts/pricing/etc - and if anyone can make this work, it would definitely be SGP - I'm really interested to see what kind of solution they are going to come up with to lengthen the throttle cables, etc... hopefully you'll plan on getting a 350EVO throttle body at the same time?

Do you guys realize what you're getting into with this manifold? This manifold is clearly for road racing and a turbo. Take a hard look at the intake runners.....there are none!!!!! The lack of any sort of long intake runner design means that your below 5000rpm performance will be dismal and in the 1/4 mile the car will be much slower, especially to 70mph. If you were road racing and always kept the rpms above 5000 then this manifold would be perfect. If you had a turbo, the manifold would be good because turbos develop their own atmosphere quickly and aren't very dependant on intake runner tuning.

Power under the curve is key to optimal performance. Believe me on this, a G35 making 240whp@6000rpms and 235wtq@4400rpms is going to be much quicker than a G35 making 265whp@6800rpms and 215wtq@5300rpms.

One of the guys here on G35driver (TINMAN) has one of these on his forced induction coupe. Here's the link for his gallery: TINMAN it might be interesting to hear what he has to say.... I agree with everyone here, I want to see dyno charts for natty and I want to know how much of a discount we'd be talking about here. Unless it has some miraculous numbers, it certainly looks like it won't be worth the trouble of relocating the TB, changing throttle cables and wires, etc. Also if I'm understand CB here, the intake tract runs to some type of ram air element behind the grill which means relocating the MAF right?? I'm assuming the gains won't be significant enough to equate for the $1000 cost (not to mention money and time modifying this) when you could go out and get a new plenum, an intake, and still have money to spare (maybe even the new APS plenum when it comes out for you FI guys). But hey anything new comes along for the G and I gotta admit I'm interested and will be open minded.
