How would one fix oil in the spark plug issue

Looking to get an 04 and i see some people that when they change their plugs...they have some oil in there. What is needed to fix this and is it a big issue? Or can you just let it go and keep on going with the new plugs?

Spark plug tube seals I believe... U have to take off the valve cover to replace it. Pretty easy though took me about an hour in the dark

So a mechanic could probably do it in less time than that?

Is it a big issue if you don't fix it?

Eventually the spark plug tube will fill up and kill that coil pack, if your cheap like i was you can just remove the spark plug every 5k miles or so and let that oil drain into the cylinder lol.

I doubt every one will do it. When I was troubleshooting what ended up being blown piston rings. I was checking out all my coils and plugs. My misfire was in cyl 6 but I had oil pooling up into the tube before it... Worse case scenario just find the part number somewhere on here and replace if you ever go down that road. Trust not at all difficult to get to the valve cover just remembering what screws go where is the toughest part

there's R&D factory that actually gives you great deal. they will send you both valve covers which has been modified on the seals for 250. and after replacing yours, send both of yours VC to them and they will send 100 back to you. so pretty much saying 150 for both valve covers, instead 300 each buy from dealership.. there's no way you can have it done in 1 hour. going to mechanic they will charge you around 600 for labor. just do it yourself. is not that hard!

^^ I have a mechanic that is very cheap...doubt it would be $600...more like $200 would be my guess

But if it's not that big of a deal..i may just change the plugs more often then if thats the case

Wonder if i can have my mechanic take out a spark plug to see if theres oil in there when i have him look at it next week before i buy
