No question, best bang-for-your-buck noticeable mod for me was Gord's GroundingGear. I felt it right away, even more so than the previous grounding kits I tried. Not sure if it made any more power, but I could sure feel the difference in the over-all response of the engine and tranny!

The second mod that made the biggest difference were replacing the tires with some decent rubber.

After that, the sway bar.

My CAI made noise which my son thought seemed to make the car go faster, but to tell the truth, I couldn't feel any difference, at least in the low to mid range.

My Kinetics Y-pipe was just irritating, and I've heard varying results from the plenums.

Don't mess with the ECU.

Ever heard of voided warranty?
Most of us like to keep what we paid for.

Some will say they do nothing.

For info and some feedback, try the Hyper-Ground FAQ Thread .

my setup:

-grounding kit: $50-70
-Stillen Dual Exhaust: $600 (bought it used for 2 weeks =))
-Kinetix high flow cats: $400
-Technosquare ECU: $0 (i let they use my ECU to mail to japan so they gave me a free one)
-UR crank pulley: $150
-K&N panel filter and z-tube: $0 (i tested the K&N short ram intake, sold it, bought a JWT popcharger and z-tube with the money, sold the JWT, and bought the panel filter. my current set-up was better IMO than the other ones i had- you can PM me for details about that...or do a search)

i dynod 151 rwhp with the grouding kit, intake, ecu, exhaust, and cats. i added the pulley after. next mod: spacer, and ive got alphawerks headers coming, but im selling those to get a Kimber Eclipse II 1911. =)

It sounds like the grounding gear helps a lot with AT cars, but i'm not too sure if it makes some improvements for a 6MT

I've notice that every little mod i did... there was a noticable differnce.... my first mod was the stillen TD exhaust.... nice for the mid to upper RPM.... i then went to the Kinetix HF Cats.... the car breathed much better... but then my car develpoed a raspyness (which i am not too crazy about), but the car breathed and that's worth the raspyness..... after, i placed AEM short Ram, only sound difference,,, nice though... my car sounds more like a Ferrari...then i went with the crank pulley.... the car responded nice... the car feels lighter, and the response is quicker... next mod... craford pleneum, and maybe headers? hope this helps....
