G35 Dyno Marathon from the Winter 05 Sport Z Magazine
G35 Dyno Marathon from the Winter 05 Sport Z Magazine
The article was essentially a table that made for a nice scan.
Since the results are all over the place, I'd like to hear what some of you guys think of them.
Would anyone object to the article being posted here ?
If no, post your email address here and I'll email the scan to you so that it can be posted to the forum.

the article was very informative, although i would have liked to see the baseline for the automatic sedans and coupes.
I also didnt really like the dyno they used, the numbers were really inflated compared to a mustang or dynojet

I believe the article states up front that the Dynapack with the hub adapters (replace rear wheels) adds like 10-15 hp as compared to Dynojet which uses the roller interface.
The only thing that seemed consistent is that all the cars in the top had the TS ECU re-flash.
If someone knows how to post the scan here, I'll send it to you.

Guys
My car was in that comparison too.
A couple of things about the dynapack... it is by far the best dyno there is IMO, as it can vary load (indispensable in tuning). Also, the numbers are NOT inflated.. they do read about 10 hp higher (confirmed by a member - 10.1hp difference in his case) because of thereduced rotational mass de to the lack of the wheels. So, it is not, say, 250hp at the wheels (250rwhp), but 250hp at the axle (something like 250rahp). It is a far more accurate measurement instrument from what i know (and IMO, for what it's worth).

BTW... i think that copyright laws would prevent you from posting a scan of the magazine... the mods will remove it if you do...

If it violates copyright and upsets a bunch of folks, then don't post it.
On several of the other boards I frequent, they have entire sections for scans like this ...
Also, it looks like the data is readily available elsewhere on the board.
