ecu reset new method plus help

hey i know there are alot of ecu reseting procedures

i was told by a friend that on my o4 coupe all i have to do is reset the battery for 15 minutes then drive it hard

but i think the method as stated in this site were u press the pedal 5 times and so is more effective

anyone try it let me know

also i want to make my car faster so just after the reset drive it hard right?

I'm sorry, but are you f*cking blind?!?!? In this exact same forum there is a sticky on how to reset your ECU.....it's appropriately named "EASY ECU RESETTING".

Is it just me or does it seem like a bunch of newbies have been on these boards lately asking Q's before searching....

Maybe the stickys should be in a bright red or orange color and have the words..........

...LOOK AT ME!!! in front of them

Maybe then they will get noticed by the newbies?

I have to admit though...I've gotten lazy a few times over the past 1yr+ that ive been a member ... OOPS did I do that?

The battery disconnect method has been around from the beginning but I would suggest a longer disconnect. The service manual suggest at least 12 hrs.
The pedal method is as effective, but can be difficult to master the method.

No matter what method you use, the ECU re-learns your driving style immediately.

No need to give other people a hard time. Calling other member f*cking blind is just not right. You need some anger management bro
