Yes I have; Uprev can definitely handle over 600whp...the limiting factor with Uprev since its MAF tuned is that you'll need an upgraded MAF, or a bigger MAF pipe....if you don't want to get a bigger MAF pipe then I suggest getting the PMAS MAF, good to 1000hp

I'm at 570whp, with no problems, I have a friend that was making 690 then upgraded his turbos and cams and finally went haltech.

You will need an uprev Maf GT for anything over 400 or so, they quit making the PMAS.

Ok. i'm trying to sort this out because I'm doing a custom setup. So it seems I can run a single intake but a larger diameter intake pipe. Or run a dual intake which requires 2 MAFS. I was trying to avoid a haltech because of how few tuners that support the system. I know of a few places who are uprev certified.

Either way I believe the stock maf will max out, the intake pipe won't be a problem there are plenty of guys making that kind of power without a larger diameter pipe, even if you did get a larger one the throttle body would be a restriction

Which MAF does the JWT kit utilize then? I do also understand the airflow properties with respect to your last statement

Depends on the kit but Id bet everyone running the 700 or 850 kit is using an HPX or Uprev GT

If you need a maf gt I've got a brand new one I'll sell you, hpx mafs pop up every now and then used in the classifieds but not often

I may run into a similar issue after my motor gets rebuilt and I up the boost. How much does a MAF Gt retail for and where can I purchase one online?

After doing my hwk, I found that you only need 1 MAF GT. Uprev sells them and it rated to 1000hp.

Are you sure? Where does it say it's rated to 1000hp?

My statement was incorrect, I spoke to Uprev directly and they reported hearing of a customer hitting 750hp. I think the hp rating I was thinking of was the FMIC that you can order from GTM. Their side suggests support up to 1000hp. My bad
