Drove through high water help! Wont start

what would that procedure be? i appreciate your help
im on my way to get new oil and some new spark plugs. when i removed my intake the filter was pretty soaked however when i removed the tube there was slight moisture but nothing that seemed too crazy of water.
how would i go about manually cranking the car with one spark plug out?
Drain the oil ASAP!! Stop trying to start the car. You run the risk of damaging the internals of the engine more than what may have already been done.
Remove the intake manifold and spark plugs.
Dry everything out
Drain and refill the oil
Replace the Spark Plugs with new.
Manually crank the car with one spark plug out.
Pray

You need to remove the ENTIRE INTAKE MANIFOLD and make sure everything is dry. I guarantee there is going to be water on top of the pistons.
When I say manually crank I mean take the spark plugs out and turn the key only enough to turn the motor and push the water out. You will smell fuel while you do this. If the engine shreaks or knocks it's toasted.

When I removed the first spark plug on the passenger side the plug closest to the firewall was wet inside def had water I'm there, what I can see that's the only one so

That is how you dry it out according to the link that was provided by one of the contributors. Also, if you want to keep that intake, I suggest you get something like the item below to prevent another potential catastrophe during the rainy season.

True. But it could at the very least lessen the damage. Could be the difference between a destroyed engine, and one that just needs to be purged.

As long as you don't hear any dangerous grinding or clanking sounds, you should keep turning it over or let it dry out for a few hours more before trying again. And repeat until either you get some life out of it, or it dies.

when i turn the motor nothing sounds like its grinding or making a bad noise. it was still spitting some mist out when i turned it the last few times.
i turned it until the mist was very minimal or almost nothing and have a fan blowing the engine right now. im going to run out for a bit, grab some new spark plugs and give it another shot in a couple hours, so far the engine doesnt sound bad so i guess thats a good thing.
wish me luck and thank you thus far for everyone whom has helped. ive decided im either gonna get a short ram intake or just find a stock one and put that back on. a CAI isnt worth this hastle
