ProFlow TB...

Has anyone tried out their TBs. I'm thinking of getting one myself. Any specs on how much is bored out between the 350Evo TBs and the ProFlow TBs?

Since the TB is not the limiting factor in volumetric efficiency, I would think the gains would be zero or close to zero. If you had giant cams and ported heads/oversized valves etc., then maybe some benefit would result. But on a stock motor, waste of time & money me thinks.

Just sent out my spare TB to ProFlow. I will post pics once I recieved it. Their gonna bore it to 72mm and a tapered lip on the intake side. The throttle plate and the throttle shaft will be swapped out. I have plans to use this TB with the Crawfordz's Cast Plenum which has a 76mm opening.

Inside Shots

Here are pics of where the TB Meets the Plenum. The lighted area is the ProFlow TB and the Dark area in the background is the intake plenum. Notice the difference in diameter. The install took 15 mins.

Oh ... I forgot to ask you what is the stock bore size (both ends), since I never got around to measuring them myself.

Also, we've got another Dyno day coming up that happens to be in your area ... ya might want to take advantage of that.
