NEED HELP! Oil Pan Gasket Leaking?

I need help! I don't know much about cars, but I got my oil changed today and they said the oil pan gasket on my 2004 Infiniti G35 Coupe is leaking, and some automotive shops are saying it's a 10 hour job, and it's going to cost around $750 for just labor. Is this true?! Ugh!
Is there any other way to fix it?

Thanks in advance!

First, verify yourself that its actually leaking. I had a shop install a different oil pan which essentially is the same procedure as replacing the gasket, I believe they charged me less than $100 and took them no more than 2 hours. Unless the gasket is for your upper pan which I can't imagine would be much worse.

Considering there isn't a oil pan gasket on these cars, I would have an actual shop investigate it, not a quick lube place.... the Oil Cooler O-Ring is often the problem, very rare that it would be the upper pan gaskets, but I don't think it's a 10 hour job regardless....

Thank you so much Phil! I will definitely have shops diagnose it!
