Hey Guys, I have an 06 G35 MT with 63k on her. When I take off there is a clicking noise that comes from the rear of the car. It seems to happen at low rpms but I could be wrong. A few people have tried to give me their two cents but everyone is a know it all. So I'm here looking for some advice from guys who have experienced the same issue or work on these cars. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'll just take a guess here that's is probably your rear axles clicking. no big deal - maybe post a youtube video?

 

Yea they need to be removed and greased. Im in the same boaT. Might do it one day.

can u get axle click 2hen ur braking? I hope what I hear is my pads.

 

For the record, I flipped and greased pads, noise gone.

 

brake pad click in the rear is very common for aftermarket pads cuz the shims wont fit with most of them... i have that issue with my hawks but its worth it for the increased braking..... i believe i just started getting the axle click in the past 10k miles though... its audible at low speeds in both directions. its a steady clicking, not a one time click like the pads.... its at the ship now getting a bunch of little warranty work done before it runs out next month... im hoping they can pinpoint the clicking noise..... on a good note, im getting new front compression rods and lower control arms(transverse bars i think he called them) should ride like a new car now. cant wait to get it back

 

For me it was a one tim eclick from the axles, and steady from the pads as long as i was braking.
