I may have to do that one too. I did a custom gauge cluster, and it's still telling me I have half a tank of fuel and I know I don't.

there are a few related posts that say that the 2 fuel gauges need to be cleaned.

G35 sedan coilovers, cat delete, wheels.
So, i’m new to owning these cars so take my input with a grain of salt, but if it were me I would look for the fuel filter. Remove the filter and turn the car on and use its furl pump to pump the fuel out through the line that would normally enter the filter.

this would be a good time to put a new filter in it also.

good luck.

If you need to drain the tank the best way is definitely to siphon the tanks (both halves, it's a saddle tank) into gas cans. Infinitely easier than making some kind of adapter for the fuel rail then using the pump to push the fuel out.

I assume the easiest way to do this is to remove the rear seat and the caps on the tanks, and then siphon it out?

Yeah, pull the pump and sub pump and siphon from the back seat.

Stock, suade seats.
Old thread, but is that the only way to remove the old gas from the tank? Was it successful removing the fuel pump and the secondary to remove the old gas? I have a full tank of 2 year old gas from my late father's G35 coupe. Can I just put stabil and octane boost and run the gas and continue to dilute the tank with new gas?

If it still runs on the old gas, just drive it til it runs out.

yes because the seat comes up really quickly. Best way.
